Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized AR/AP Specialist to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing accounts payable and receivable processes, maintaining accurate financial records, and supporting overall accounting functions. Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, or Xero is essential. Responsibilities
- Manage and process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions efficiently and accurately
- Generate and issue customer invoices accurately and on time.
- Process and apply payments to customer accounts.
- Monitor outstanding balances and follow up on overdue accounts.
- Reconcile accounts and resolve billing discrepancies.
- Maintain accurate customer records and AR reports.
- Collaborate with internal teams to address payment and billing issues.
- Support month-end closing activities and ensure compliance with company policies.
- Perform account reconciliations, including customer reconciliations
- Maintain and update financial records using accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, or Xero
- Assist with bookkeeping tasks to ensure accurate recording of financial data
- Conduct regular account analysis to identify discrepancies or issues requiring resolution
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth financial operations and compliance with company policies
Requirements
- Proven experience with accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, or Xero
- Strong understanding of accounting principles, bookkeeping, accounts payable, and accounts receivable processes
- Experience with account reconciliation, bank reconciliation, and account analysis
- Knowledge of payroll processing is preferred
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently
- Prior experience in budgeting and financial reporting is a plus
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively within a team
Pay: $18.00-$22.00 per hour
