Overview

The Shipper/Receiver supports accurate, timely movement of goods through warehouse distribution, from receiving and storage to order fulfillment and shipment. This hands-on role includes shipping and receiving, order picking, packaging, and load and unload tasks, with attention to secure handling and accurate records.

Responsibilities

- Receive, inspect, and organize incoming goods; prepare orders for shipment and confirm quantities against documentation.
- Pick and package orders, including e-commerce orders, and load or unload shipments carefully.
- Use a warehouse management system and applicable tools such as MRP or AS400 to track inventory and update order records.
- Operate equipment such as a forklift, reach truck, or order picker when qualified and authorized, following workplace procedures.

Experience

Required: Basic math, careful recordkeeping, and the ability to follow shipping, receiving, picking, packaging, and load-handling procedures are practical capabilities for this work. Preferred: Warehouse experience, warehouse distribution, and familiarity with shipping and receiving, order fulfillment, e-commerce, warehouse management systems, MRP, AS400, forklifts, reach trucks, or order pickers can support effective performance.

Pay: $21.00-$26.05 per hour
