We are looking for individuals for backup/casual employment. Positions can lead to permanent for the right candidate. **_What You Will Do:_** + Control access to the site and verify visitors, employees, contractors. + Wand search and metal detection + Control access to restricted areas within the facility. + Maintain accurate daily activity and incident reports + Respond to incidents and emergencies in accordance with site procedures + Enforce client and site-specific security policies + Provide professional customer service to employees, visitors, contractors.



+ Maintain a visible security presence + Perform other security-related duties as assigned **_What We Need from You:_** + Valid Ontario Security Guard Licence and First Aid and CPR Certificate + Strong communication and customer service skills + **3-4 years of security experience, preferably with high level security sites.** + Professional appearance and positive attitude + Ability to remain calm and professional in challenging situations + Robust observation and attention to detail + Ability to complete written reports accurately + Ability to work independently and as part of a team + Ability to sit and stand in a quiet enviornment. + Be able to meet the reliability clearances for + Reliable attendance and punctuality + Previous security experience is an asset, but qualified candidates with a strong customer-service background are encouraged to apply for more experienced roles. + **Priority will be given to candidates with OPEN availability for days, afternoons, nights and weekend shifts and their own vehicle with a G licence.
