Job Summary

Responsibilities

- Greet customers warmly and assist with their orders in a professional manner
- Operate POS systems, including Micros POS, to process transactions accurately
- Handle cash and perform cash handling duties with attention to detail
- Prepare food items according to safety and sanitation standards
- Upsell menu items and promote specials to enhance sales opportunities
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of food preparation areas in compliance with food safety regulations
- Manage multiple tasks efficiently during busy periods using effective time management skills
- Ensure proper food handling procedures are followed at all times
- Support team members in serving customers quickly and courteously
- Assist with inventory management and restocking supplies as needed

Requirements :

- Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments preferred, including cashiering and food preparation roles
- Knowledge of POS systems, especially Micros POS, is highly desirable




- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and making change accurately
- Understanding of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a rapid-paced setting
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively during busy hours
- Kitchen experience or food industry background is a plus but not required
- Serving experience or restaurant experience will be considered an asset

Pay: From $16.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 - 40 per week
