Edmonton

We provide the leads. You start the conversation. Our sales managers handle the sale.

Are you comfortable talking to people, willing to learn, and looking to build practical sales skills?

Northline Powersports is an Edmonton-based powersports dealership. We’re building an appointment-setting team to reconnect with people who previously contacted us about quads, side-by-sides, snowmobiles, and other machines.

You do not need previous dealership or sales experience. We’re looking for people who listen well, follow through, and are willing to practise and improve.

What the job involves

You’ll make outbound calls to people who submitted an inquiry through our website or advertising at least 30 days ago.

Some will still be looking. Some will have put their plans on hold. Others will have already purchased. Your job is to have a natural conversation, understand their current situation, and arrange a conversation with a sales manager when there is a genuine reason to connect.

You will not be responsible for negotiating prices, assessing financing eligibility, or closing the sale.

Your main responsibilities will be to:

- Call previous inquiries using our provided leads and conversation scripts.
- Listen, ask relevant questions, and identify whether a sales-manager conversation would be useful.
- Book appointments directly into the sales team’s calendar or connect interested customers with an available manager.
- Follow up at agreed times and keep transparent, accurate notes in Zoho, our customer management system.
- Participate in practice calls and coaching,

then apply what you learn.

This is a phone-based, results-focused role. You’ll spend much of your day making outbound calls, and not every call will be answered or lead to an appointment. Being able to stay professional, accept a “no,” and move on to the next call is important.

Training and support

You’ll begin with a five-business-day onboarding program covering our scripts, how to handle different customer responses, appointment booking, and the tools you’ll use.

Training includes demonstrations, practice conversations, and supervised calls, followed by ongoing coaching. You won’t be expected to figure everything out on your own or become an expert in your first week.

We provide the leads, training materials, scripts, and access to the sales team’s calendar. You bring reliability, effort, and a willingness to learn.

Who would do well here?

We’re looking for someone who:

- Communicates clearly, listens carefully, and can make people feel comfortable on the phone.
- Is dependable, organized, and follows through on commitments.
- Takes feedback positively and is willing to practise new skills.
- Is comfortable using a computer and learning new software.

Experience in customer service, retail, hospitality, call centers, or sales is welcome, but it is not required. An interest in powersports is a bonus, not a requirement.

How to apply

Apply through Indeed with your resume and a short introduction explaining why this role interests you.

New to sales? Tell us about an experience that shows you can communicate well, follow through, or learn from feedback.

You don’t need a polished sales background. You do need to be ready to pick up the phone, listen, and improve.

Pay: $48,000.00-$60,000.00 per year

Application question(s):

- This role involves spending much of your workday making outbound calls to people who previously inquired about powersports machines. Some calls will go unanswered, and some customers will not be interested. Are you comfortable doing this type of work consistently?
- You call someone who previously inquired about a quad. They say, “No, I never ended up buying anything.” What would you say next? Write one or two sentences as though you were speaking to the customer. No previous sales experience is needed.
- Tell us about a time someone gave you feedback that helped you improve at a task. What did you change, and what happened afterward? Examples from work, school, sports, or volunteering are welcome. Please keep your answer to two to four sentences.
- What days and hours are you available to work, and when would you be available to start?
