We are seeking an experienced and passionate Medical Aesthetician to join our collaborative team.

Position Overview

As a Medical Aesthetician at SkinMed Aesthetics Clinic, you will perform advanced, non-invasive aesthetic and skin rejuvenation treatments under established clinic protocols and medical supervision. You will conduct in-depth skin assessments, curate tailored treatment plans, educate clients on medical-grade home care, and maintain meticulous clinical records.

Key Responsibilities

- Advanced Clinical Treatments: Perform specialized non-invasive procedures including medical and signature clinical facial, Laser hair reduction, Microneedling (collagen induction therapy), Superficial to medium chemical peels, Microdermabrasion and hydro-dermabrasion, Dermaplaning
- Consultations & Skin Assessments: Conduct thorough skin analyses (evaluating skin anatomy, common skin conditions, Fitzpatrick skin types, and contraindications) to design customized, goal-oriented treatment programs.




- Client Education & Home Care: Guide clients through essential pre- and post-treatment protocols and recommend targeted medical-grade skincare regimens (e.g., cleansers, active serums, sun protection) to support treatment outcomes.
- Infection Control & Safety: Maintain a strict commitment to infection control, hygiene, laser safety protocols, and regulatory standards within a clinical environment. Keep treatment rooms sanitary, organized, and fully stocked.
- Documentation & Administration: Maintain accurate, timely, and confidential client charting, treatment parameters, and progress notes within the clinic’s electronic management system.
- Interdisciplinary Collaboration: Work closely with administrative staff, medical supervisors, and fellow aesthetic professionals to ensure a seamless, high-touch client experience.

Qualifications & Requirements

- Experience: 3–5 years of hands-on experience in the aesthetics field. Previous experience in a medical spa, dermatology clinic, or aesthetic practice is an asset.
- Certification / Licensure: Relevant aesthetician or medical aesthetics certification/diploma or license, in accordance with local regulations. Recognized laser safety certification is an asset.
- Clinical Knowledge: Strong knowledge of skin anatomy,



common skin conditions, Fitzpatrick skin types, and contraindications for aesthetic procedures.
- Customer Service & Communication: Strong customer service skills, including clear client communication, active listening, empathy, and the ability to build and maintain lasting professional relationships.
- Device Proficiency: Proven hands-on competency operating modern aesthetic technologies (e.g., laser hair reduction platforms and automated microneedling pens).
- Safety & Standards: Demonstrated commitment to infection control, hygiene, and clinical safety standards.
- Availability & Work Ethic: Ability to work on-site with a strong attendance record, time management, and organizational skills.
