Processor Operator – Forestry / LoggingJob Summary

We are seeking an experienced and safety-conscious Processor Operator to join our forestry operations team. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating a forestry processor to delimb, measure, cut, and process CTL (Cut-to-Length) wood efficiently and accurately.

The ideal candidate will have experience operating forestry processing equipment, a strong understanding of safe operating procedures, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced logging environment.

Key Responsibilities

- Safely and efficiently operate a forestry processor to process CTL wood.
- Delimb, measure, and cut trees to the required specifications.
- Ensure logs are processed accurately to maximize wood recovery and productivity.
- Perform daily equipment inspections and report mechanical issues or maintenance requirements.
- Monitor equipment performance and maintain a clean, organized operator station.
- Follow all company safety policies and forestry operating procedures.
- Communicate effectively with other equipment operators and crew members.
- Maintain consistent production while minimizing equipment damage and wood waste.




- Work outdoors in varying weather and forestry conditions.

Qualifications and Requirements

- Minimum of 1 year of forestry processor operating experience.
- Experience processing CTL wood is preferred.
- Must have a valid driver's licence.
- Must successfully pass a pre-employment drug test.
- Knowledge of safe equipment operation and forestry practices.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Reliable, punctual, and committed to protected and productive work.
