Cashier - Siegel’s Bagels (Granville Island Location)

Siegel’s Bagels, a well-loved destination in the heart of Granville Island, is currently hiring for two Cashier positions . We’re looking for enthusiastic, reliable individuals who thrive in a fast-paced workplace and enjoy creating positive experiences for every customer.

Key Responsibilities :

- Welcome every customer with a friendly, engaging attitude and provide exceptional service
- Accurately take orders and handle cash, debit, and credit transactions
- Maintain strong knowledge of menu items to guide customers and make recommendations
- Work efficiently in a high-volume, busy environment while staying calm and organized
- Deliver on Siegel’s Bagels’ customer-first approach by going above and beyond expectations
- Ensure orders are accurate, timely, and presented well
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the front counter and service areas
- Follow proper food handling, sanitation, and hygiene practices in accordance with BC FoodSafe standards
- Support team members with stocking, light food prep, and maintaining smooth operations during peak hours
- Communicate clearly with kitchen and team members to ensure efficient service
