Overview

Responsibilities

- Greet customers warmly and assist them with their purchases using POS systems
- Handle cash, credit, and digital payments accurately and efficiently
- Upsell additional items to enhance customer experience and sales opportunities
- Maintain organized merchandising displays and ensure the checkout area is clean and inviting
- Manage customer inquiries via phone or in person with professionalism and courtesy
- Support team members with various tasks to ensure smooth store operations
- Demonstrate excellent communication skills, including bilingual capabilities if applicable, to serve a diverse clientele

Qualifications

- Previous experience in retail sales, cashiering, or customer service preferred
- Strong communication skills, including phone etiquette and active listening




- Basic math skills for cash handling and transaction accuracy
- Organizational skills to manage time effectively during busy periods
- Ability to operate POS systems efficiently and troubleshoot minor technical issues
- Multilingual or bilingual abilities are a plus for serving a diverse customer base
- Demonstrated ability to work well within a team in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
