• Drive design system adoption and identify opportunities to improve and evolve the system over time.
• Partner with developers to support accurate implementation, explain design rationale, and resolve design and technical trade-offs.
• Know when to advocate for a better user experience and when to work within technical constraints to reach a practical solution.
• Collaborate openly with team members, share ideas, provide feedback, and incorporate feedback from others.
• Champion usability,

accessibility, inclusive design, and customer-centered UX practices.
• Present design concepts, recommendations, and rationale clearly to business and technical stakeholders.

• Advanced proficiency with Figma and modern design and prototyping tools.
• Robust experience with interaction design, information architecture, user flows, wireframing, prototyping, and detailed visual design.
• Experience designing responsive web and/or mobile applications.
• Understanding of design and the ability to determine the appropriate level of detail for different stages of the design process.
• Strong understanding of usability, accessibility, inclusive design, and user-centered design principles.
• Experience incorporating user research, customer behaviour, usability insights, and analytics into design decisions.
• Strong customer mindset, with the ability to ask why, dig deeper, and identify the root causes of ambiguous customer problems.
• Strong presentation, communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to clearly communicate and explain design rationale to business, product, and technical partners.
• Experience working collaboratively in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Ability to independently manage UX activities across complex initiatives and multiple product areas.
