Job Summary We are seeking an enthusiastic and professional Part time Spa Receptionist to be the welcoming face of Pure + Simple Oshawa on Fridays, Saturdays, and Tuesdays . In this vital role, you will create a warm, inviting atmosphere for guests while efficiently managing front desk operations. Your energy and excellent communication skills will ensure every visitor feels valued from the moment they walk through the door. As a Spa Receptionist, you will handle appointment scheduling, guest inquiries, and retail sales with a positive attitude and attention to detail, contributing to an exceptional spa experience for all clients.

Responsibilities

- Greet guests warmly and provide outstanding customer service to ensure a positive first impression
- Manage appointment bookings, confirm schedules and update client records accurately
- Answer phone calls with professional phone etiquette, addressing inquiries about services, products, and promotions
- Sell spa packages, retail products, and additional services to enhance guest satisfaction
- Conduct product demos for retail items, educating clients on benefits and features to encourage purchases
- Assist with merchandising efforts by stocking shelves, organizing promotional displays, and maintaining a clean reception area
- Maintain our high standards of cleanliness by managing the spa laundry cycle (towels and linens) and ensuring all common spaces (waiting area, restroom,



and front desk) remain pristine and organized.
- Process transactions efficiently using cash handling skills and basic math to ensure accuracy in sales and receipts

Qualifications

- Previous experience in retail sales or customer service roles, preferably in a wellness or hospitality environment
- Supervising experience is a plus, demonstrating leadership in managing front desk operations or team coordination
- Strong communication skills with excellent phone etiquette and active listening capabilities
- Familiarity with POS systems, cashiering procedures, and retail math for accurate transactions
- Knowledge of merchandising techniques and product demos to promote retail items effectively

Required Schedule

- Fridays: 11:00am - 7:00pm
- Saturdays: 9:00am - 5:00pm
- Tuesdays: 9:00am - 5:00pm
- Additional hours may become available based on spa demand.
