Build C and Python software at Xona for desktop applications and satellite subsystem components. Work with hardware communication protocols and embedded systems. As a Software Engineer, you will contribute to developing and integrating a desktop application for Xona’s in-house satellite receivers. You will also write application code for satellite subsystem components. The work includes software-hardware interfaces, build systems, component communication, subsystem communication, and modularization. Embedded development includes microcontroller programming and real-time operating systems.

Requirements:
- Experience coding in C and Python
- Experience with software build systems
- Knowledge of RS-485, UART, I2C, CAN, SPI, Ethernet TCP/IP
- Experience with dev kits and firmware flashing
- Experience with RTOS, Bash, and control systems Apply embedded software expertise, C and Python development, and hardware communication knowledge to Xona’s satellite technology.
