Shape market risk controls at Aster using Python, derivatives expertise, and analytical judgment across decentralized on-chain trading. Apply scenario analysis and stress testing to complex products. As a Risk Control Specialist, you will design and oversee frameworks, methodologies, and limits for futures and derivatives products. You will assess trading risk profiles, challenge concentrations and trade sizing, and partner with trading teams on capital allocation. The work supports risk-return decisions within Aster’s risk appetite.

Key Responsibilities
- Design risk frameworks, methodologies, and limits for derivatives
- Challenge concentrations, trade sizing, and transaction structures
- Assess large or complex trades and product risks
- Conduct scenario analyses, stress tests,



and risk deep-dives
- Monitor markets, exposures, and emerging tail risks

Requirements:
- Degree in mathematics, statistics, computer science, or related field
- Solid quantitative and analytical problem-solving skills
- Proficiency with Python, pandas, and NumPy
- Experience with VaR, CVaR, margining, liquidation, and derivatives
- Ability to communicate complex ideas clearly and independently Apply derivatives knowledge, quantitative analysis, Python, and stress testing to strengthen Aster’s decentralized trading risk controls.
