Position: Senior Business Analyst

Duration: 1 Year assignment (contract)
Client Location: Toronto (Onsite: 7.25 hours/day between 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM, Monday to Friday)

About the Engagement

Akkodis is seeking an experienced Senior Business Analyst to support enterprise-scale digital transformation initiatives, platform enhancements, service onboarding activities, and integration projects within a large public-sector setting.

The successful consultant will work closely with program areas, business stakeholders, product teams, architects, developers, UX specialists, privacy and security advisors, testers, and operational teams to define business needs and translate them into actionable requirements. The role requires extensive experience leading business analysis activities throughout the delivery lifecycle, ensuring solutions align with business objectives while leveraging enterprise platform capabilities and reusable services.

Scope

Elicit, analyze, document, validate, and manage business and system requirements.

Assess service onboarding requirements and alignment with enterprise platforms and shared capabilities.

Facilitate stakeholder workshops, interviews, discovery sessions, and requirements validation activities.

Develop process models, user stories, use cases, business rules, acceptance criteria, and traceability artifacts.

Assignment Deliverables

Requirements traceability matrices.

Gap assessments and impact analyses.





Business recommendations and options analyses.

Workshop materials, stakeholder communications, and executive presentations.

Testing support documentation and implementation readiness deliverables.

Expertise Required

Must Have:

Experience leading business analysis for large-scale digital transformation or enterprise technology initiatives.

Experience documenting requirements, user stories, process models, business rules, and acceptance criteria.

Experience assessing services for integration with shared platforms and reusable enterprise capabilities.

Experience working within Agile or hybrid delivery environments.

Experience supporting backlog management, testing, release planning, and implementation activities.

Experience coordinating deliverables across multiple business and technical teams.

Nice to Have:

Experience conducting impact assessments and identifying risks, dependencies, assumptions, and constraints.

Experience preparing executive briefings, status reporting, recommendations, and decision support materials.
