Lead CapEx and major maintenance projects in Port Mellon, using mechanical engineering, budgeting, and project management expertise. Domtar’s Howe Sound Mill seeks a Mechanical Project Engineer reporting to the Engineering Manager. You will manage projects from planning and scope development through execution, commissioning, and closeout. The work supports mill reliability, equipment performance, continuous improvement, and long-term asset management.

Key Responsibilities
- Prepare budget cost estimates for CapEx projects
- Develop scopes, schedules, and procurement plans
- Manage maintenance and CapEx project delivery
- Review third-party civil and structural drawings
- Coordinate skilled services for forest service roads

Requirements:
- Bachelor of Engineering, preferably Mechanical
- Engineer-In-Training or Professional Engineer registration in Canada
- Project management experience in pulp, paper, or mining preferred
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office and Project
- Experience with ASME, API, or SAP preferred Apply mechanical engineering, project management, and cost control skills to Domtar’s Port Mellon mill projects.
