Support Firebag growth projects from Suncor’s Calgary head office using Ready for Operations planning and SAGD operations expertise. Some travel to Firebag and EPC offices is required. As a Senior Operations Advisor, you will help integrate future project scopes into the existing Firebag field. You will support activities from concept development through execution, commissioning, start-up, and closeout. The role emphasizes operational integration, asset lifecycle management, and business readiness. You will work with Production Unit, RFO, commissioning, start-up, EPC, and project stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop and steward RFO plans through every project stage
- Plan Operations, Maintenance, and Reliability deliverables
- Interface with EPCs and Firebag stakeholders




- Identify scope risks and define mitigation solutions
- Provide schedule, resource, risk, and quality updates

Requirements:
- Engineering certificate, trade certification, or relevant degree
- Minimum seven years of progressive SAGD plant operations experience
- Experience supporting RFO, commissioning, or start-up activities
- Understanding of operational integration and business readiness principles
