Apply PLS-CADD, SPIDAcalc, and engineering judgment at WSP, designing low
- and medium-voltage distribution systems for utility projects. As a Senior Distribution Line Engineer, you will contribute to WSP’s national Power Delivery practice from an Ontario office. The work covers overhead and underground systems, including engineering calculations, equipment sizing, material specifications, and construction documentation. You will also mentor engineers, designers, and drafters.

Key Responsibilities
- Design, analyze, and optimize distribution systems
- Prepare and review overhead and underground design deliverables
- Provide senior technical review for accurate compliant designs
- Coordinate with clients, project managers, and stakeholders




- Identify improvements to design efficiency, quality, and delivery

Requirements:
- Ontario P.
Eng license and Engineering degree
- 10 to 15 years designing distribution lines
- Solid understanding of distribution design, construction, and operation
- Knowledge of CSA standards, grounding, clearances, and load calculations
- Ability to lead engineers, designers, and drafters Use distribution software and powerline expertise to strengthen WSP utility designs across Ontario’s Power Delivery practice.
