This Principal Scientist leads an immunology team supporting lead and early discovery programs. The position combines autoimmune disease expertise with therapeutic antibody development and endpoint analysis. Cross-functional collaboration spans protein engineering, chemistry, translational medicine, biomarkers, and clinical development.
Key Responsibilities
- Guide interdisciplinary projects across Research organization functions
- Propose research to discover and validate targets
- Develop ex vivo endpoint analyses for mechanisms
- Plan in vivo efficacy models with partners
- Support due diligence, research reports, INDs, and patents
Requirements:
- PhD with five-plus years in target identification
- Experience in immunology, drug discovery, and technology development
- Deep understanding of basic immunology
- Broad in vitro and in vivo technical skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities Use autoimmune pathogenesis knowledge, discovery experience, and team-oriented leadership to shape rigorous biologic research programs.
