The Senior Director of Research leads the Canadian research team and shapes priorities across research, policy, engagement, and business activities. You will guide initiatives, communicate company policies, and represent the Canadian market to clients and issuers. Research Leads and Managers may report directly to this role.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead and develop the Canadian research team
- Review and publish high-profile or contentious Proxy Papers
- Lead Canadian policy updates and proxy season reviews
- Oversee client engagement, escalations, and strategic presentations




- Translate strategic priorities into actionable research initiatives

Requirements:

- Bachelor’s degree and seven years of relevant experience
- At least two years in a senior position
- Corporate governance, legal, and regulatory knowledge
- Excellent English communication and editing skills
- Mentoring, problem-solving, and relationship-building abilities
