Title: Performance Tester

Location:
Richmond Hill, ON Onsite Expectation: 4 day a week onsite (flexible) Contract: 1 Year Pay Rate: $40-50/hr What You’ll Do:
- Develop custom JMeter scripts rather than relying only on existing ones
- Create performance test plans and scenarios
- Execute performance tests against the e-commerce platform
- Use APM tooling (the team uses Datadog) to monitor systems and find the root cause of slowdowns in distributed applications
- Interpret test results (metrics, transactions) and report findings to stakeholders
- Contribute to the implementation of performance testing practices and tooling
- Support performance testing for mobile in the future Required

Qualifications:

- 5-8 years of performance testing experience
- 3-4 years of hands-on JMeter experience, including a solid understanding of the tool, metrics, and transactions
- 2+ years of hands-on APM experience (the team uses Datadog), including diagnosing root causes of slowdowns in distributed, customer-facing applications
- Ability to develop custom JMeter scripts, create test plans,



execute tests and report results to stakeholders
- Understanding of Kubernetes Nice to Have:
- Retail or ecommerce website experience
