Hello there, I'm currently seeking a dependable and mature nanny to join us in the day-to-day care of our two children, a 7-year-old boy and a 9-year-old girl. This is a part time, live-out position, with an expected need of fewer than 20 hours each week and the work primarily in the mornings. The children are independent but require supervision and transportation in the mornings to attend their respective schools. The candidate needs to be someone with a good driving record and a reliable vehicle since the job entails morning school drop-offs from our house in MacEwan (111st and Ellerslie Drive) on workdays
- Monday to Friday, primarily between 5:45am and 8:30am. The exact days might vary weekly as it will solely depend on my husband's travel schedule which could necessitate your service anywhere from once to ten times a month. Although not a primary requirement, at times, we may ask for assistance for after school pickups and facilitate them to get to their evening sports activities and help them settle for the night, which usually falls between 4:30pm to 8pm. Must be dog friendly. We have a black lab.
A background in working with 6-9-year-old children is desirable, and a valid driver's license is essential. For safety and reassurance, a police record check for vulnerable people and a certificate in CPR would be beneficial. References will be required as part of the application process.
