We are a family in Ottawa looking for a reliable and caring sitter for our 2-year-old son. Our son normally attends daycare, so we do not need regular full-time childcare. Our main need is backup care on weekdays when he needs to stay home from daycare due to a mild illness, such as a cold, cough, runny nose, or mild fever. Because these situations can come up unexpectedly, we are hoping to find someone who may occasionally be available on short notice during daytime

working hours
. We may also need occasional babysitting at other times, such as evenings or weekends. We are looking for someone who:
• Has experience caring for toddlers
• Is comfortable caring for a mildly sick child
• Is patient, dependable, and attentive
• Has CPR/First Aid certification, or similar childcare training




• Can provide a protected, caring, and engaging environment for our son Care would take place in our home. We would ideally like to meet and get to know you in advance so that our son is familiar with you before we need backup care.
