About our family We're a working couple in Oakville looking for a warm, energetic nanny to join our family's afternoon routine, Monday to Friday, 1:00-6:00 PM (5 hours a day). The job Our 4-year-old son is an energetic, playful boy who comes home from daycare around 12:30-1:... PM. He loves to play and thrives on lots of individual attention. Your afternoons with him will be all about engaging him
- playing together, colouring and crafts, LEGO, puzzles
- and helping him with his everyday routine: tidying up his toys after play, changing clothes, getting into his pyjamas, putting on his shoes, brushing his teeth, and washing his hands at mealtimes. Our 6-year-old daughter comes home at 4:00 PM. She's quite independent, and the two of them love playing together, so part of the afternoon is supporting their play together too. We'd also appreciate help with light household tasks during the afternoon: putting away and folding laundry, doing the dishes, clearing the table after meals, and tidying up the kitchen and play areas. - Reliable and responsible
- Previous experience with children
- as a nanny or in a daycare setting Important: your own transport is essential We're located on Sixth Line in Oakville, where public transport is limited, so you'll need to drive or have your own reliable transport to get here and back. If getting to our location would be difficult for you, this role probably isn't the right fit
