This Assistant Store Manager position supports daily retail operations while maintaining JD Sports’ customer and brand standards. You will deliver sales, merchandising, visual, and operational expectations, while helping teams achieve key performance indicators. The position also involves coaching associates, sharing product expertise, and partnering with the Store Manager.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform managerial tasks supporting store operations and performance
- Maintain inventory and coordinate employee scheduling requirements
- Deliver sales, merchandising, visual,
and operational expectations
- Share product and trend expertise with customers
- Support the Store Manager with key initiatives
Requirements:
- At least two years of retail experience
- Experience supervising, training, and coaching sales associates
- Ability to analyze problems and make informed decisions
- Resourcefulness in changing omnichannel retail demands
