Use Skytrac, air-to-ground radios, and Aviation Management Software to maintain accurate flight tracking for Wasaya Airways in Thunder Bay.
The Flight Follower reports to SOCC Duty Managers and monitors aircraft and crew scheduling during daily operations. You will maintain flight logs, review dispatch clearances, check crew qualifications, and advise pilots about relevant changes. The work includes coordinating abnormal operations and communicating recovery plans.
Key Responsibilities:
- Track every flight through scheduled destinations and stops
- Maintain departure and arrival records in approved software
- Review ongoing and completed Flight Dispatch Clearances
- Confirm crew members meet legal qualification parameters
- Monitor weather and runway conditions affecting operations
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Related post-secondary education preferred
- Strong computer skills, including internet and email proficiency
- Ability to work independently and within a team
- Previous airline experience is an asset
