Reporting to the Supervisor, News Camera Operators, this permanent part time position supports weekday evening, late-night, weekend, and special programming. The successful candidate gathers field material, edits stories, writes abstracts, and delivers video across multiple platforms. Hours range from 24 to 35 weekly.

Key Responsibilities:

- Edit news stories, features, and clips for publication
- Write abstracts for field material across online platforms
- Gather video for Global News divisions and platforms
- Operate live cameras for television and online production
- Handle camera equipment and tripods during field gathering

Requirements:

- Minimum five years' experience in news camera work
- Degree or diploma in Broadcast Technology
- Excellent camera skills for broadcast production
- Willingness to adapt to changing technology and online skills
- Flexibility for early mornings, evenings, overnights, weekends, and holidays
