This Mechanical Designer develops complex mechanical and piping systems for industrial facilities. You will produce technical design documents, follow engineering criteria and applicable codes, and coordinate with project stakeholders. Relevant experience in chemical or pulp and paper industries is preferred.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design complex mechanical and piping systems
- Create piping layouts, isometrics, and process diagrams
- Prepare tank data sheets, specifications, and details
- Adhere to procedures, standards, criteria, and applicable codes
- Interface with other disciplines, vendors, and customers
Requirements:
- Five-plus years in mechanical and piping design
- Consulting experience in chemical or pulp and paper industries preferred
- Proficiency with 2D drawings and 3D modeling
- Experience with isometrics and material take-offs
- AutoCAD Plant 3D and Navisworks experience is an asset
