Deliver compassionate resident care as a Health Care Aide, assisting daily living, mobility, meals, and personal needs under a Nurse’s direction.

At Meadow Ridge Seniors Village, the HCA supports residents as a valued interdisciplinary team member. The work centers on individualized care plans, therapeutic relationships, resident choice, confidentiality, and participation in social, physical, spiritual, and recreational activities. Rotations cover 0700-1500, 1500-2300, and 2300-0700.

Key Responsibilities:

- Build respectful therapeutic relationships with residents and families
- Respect resident rights, confidentiality, choices, and autonomy
- Safely lift, transfer, position, and ambulate residents




- Assist designated residents with feeding and maintain intake records
- Participate in care planning meetings and advocate for residents

Requirements:

- Recognized Health Care Aide program graduation
- Current Alberta Health Care Aide Directory registration
- Genuine interest in caring for residents
- Effective English communication and organized, resourceful work habits
- Physical ability to carry out position duties
