Use vendor reconciliation and discrepancy analysis skills at T&T; Supermarket as a Senior Accounting Associate, Monday through Friday, 9:00am to 5:30pm.
Reporting to the Accounting Manager, you will manage daily accounting activities and administrative support for Finance & Accounting. The work focuses on accurate vendor records, payment tracking, receiving-report reconciliation, and compliance with tax laws and accepted accounting practices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze vendor accounts for accuracy and completeness
- Reconcile vendor accounts with daily receiving reports
- Investigate adjustments or accruals during period close
- Prepare vendor statements and track payment clearance
- Assist with internal and external audits as required
Requirements:
- Accounting qualification, degree, diploma, or equivalent
- At least one year of relevant accounting experience
- Solid analytical skills for identifying discrepancies
- Ability to prioritize assigned tasks with minimal supervision
- Macola 10 or accounting-system familiarity is an asset
