Support aviation maintenance through aircraft component research, supplier coordination, and AMOS data accuracy in this permanent Technical Buyer role.
The Technical Buyer collaborates with the Director, Technical Procurement, to secure parts required by Technical Operations. Daily work includes researching components, negotiating purchases, coordinating orders, and ensuring procurement information remains accurate in AMOS. The position also contributes to inventory activities, delivery expediting, and warranty support.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct research on aircraft parts and components
- Coordinate orders needed for Technical Operations
- Ensure procurement data accuracy in AMOS
- Track and expedite supplier parts deliveries
- Provide support for warranty-related issues
Requirements:
- Three to five years of relevant procurement or purchasing experience
- Contract negotiation experience
- Robust attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to manage priorities and urgent requests within tight timelines
- Comfort with information technologies, Excel, and Word
