Advance smart building systems, IoT-enabled maintenance, and controls standards across Calgary Airports’ busy 24/7 airport facilities. This is a full time permanent position.
As Manager, you will serve as Calgary Airports’ subject matter expert for automation and controls systems. Your work supports energy optimization, net-zero efforts, technical investigations, capital projects, and reliable building operations. Experience with critical infrastructure and front-end controls applications is essential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as controls and automation subject matter expert
- Support smart building initiatives and energy optimization
- Implement predictive maintenance using IoT sensors and analytics
- Oversee system repairs, lifecycle management,
and maintenance
- Ensure safety, fire, mechanical, and relevant standards compliance
Requirements:
- Degree in mechanical engineering, automation, or related field
- Six to eight years’ commercial and industrial automation experience
- Two or more years of supervisory experience
- Strong knowledge of smart buildings and regulatory standards
- Eligible to obtain and maintain a RAIC
