This Millwright position combines preventive maintenance, repairs, and machinery installation in Interfor’s forest products operations. You will interpret layouts, blueprints, and drawings while using hoists, lift trucks, hand tools, and power tools. The role requires safety awareness, communication, and responsibility for quality and timeliness.
Key Responsibilities:
- Repair equipment supporting mill maintenance operations
- Maintain kiln hot oil systems equipment
- Install machinery using layouts, blueprints, and drawings
- Operate hoists and lift trucks during installations
- Complete work safely and efficiently across varied shifts
Requirements:
- Red Seal certification as a Millwright
- Solid background in workplace safety
- Ability to communicate effectively across departments
- Personal responsibility for work quality and timeliness
- Ability to recognize and correct problems immediately
