Use HTS and ECCN knowledge to classify Future Electronics products while supporting international trade compliance and export sales inquiries.
As a Trade Compliance Specialist, you will classify parts created in inventory and apply the correct Harmonized Tariff Number and Export Commodity Classification Number. The work involves interpreting country-specific regulations, updating records, and responding to sales and export questions. You will collaborate with Product Managers and Trade Team Members.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work with Product Managers on daily part classification
- Apply HTS and ECCN numbers to inventory products
- Understand regulations governing international imports and exports
- Respond to quote and export sales inquiries
- Verify HTS numbers for USMCA requests
Requirements:
- Minimum five years in product classification
- Working knowledge of HTS and ECCN requirements
- Five years of electrical component knowledge is an asset
- Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
- Intermediate Excel and Word skills
