Shape meaningful resident activities at Extendicare through program planning, team leadership, and a person-centered approach in full time senior care.

As Manager, Resident Programs, you will organize activities that support resident participation, well-being, and quality of life. You will supervise staff and volunteers, manage budgets, and collaborate with families, community partners, and care teams. Experience serving seniors is central to this position.

Key Responsibilities:

- Plan and organize diverse resident events and activities
- Ensure residents participate in multiple monthly programs
- Hire, train, and engage recreation staff and volunteers
- Respond using the HEART service approach
- Comply with regulatory requirements and Resident Bill of Rights

Requirements:

- Passion for person-centered approaches and working with seniors
- Minimum two years’ program planning experience in senior care
- Minimum one year in a health care setting
- Knowledge of Activity Pro and Point Click Care is an asset
- Proficiency with RAI-MDS and care planning is an asset
