Shape hybrid cloud infrastructure at Nutanix as a Senior Member of Technical Staff, using Go, C++, Python, or Java in a hybrid workplace.
You will support the Nutanix Cloud Manager engineering team, developing software for centralized management, deployment, and application scaling. The position focuses on high-performance, fault-tolerant distributed applications, software-defined data centers, and automated operational tasks. Collaboration with product managers, designers, and support engineers helps deliver robust web-scale solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop systems management software for scale-out data centers
- Optimize capacity and automate operational tasks at scale
- Improve internal back-end performance and scalability
- Investigate faults across distributed and asynchronous systems
- Deliver solutions with product, design, and support teams
Requirements:
- Seven to twelve years developing high-performance applications
- BS or MS in Computer Science or Engineering
- Proficiency with Linux and one listed programming language
- Knowledge of distributed data management and web-scale systems
- Experience with databases and messaging technologies
