Use inorganic chemistry and spectroscopic techniques as a full time Laboratory Technician in CSA Group’s Water Quality Group, Toronto.

CSA Group’s Water Quality and Exposure team tests potable water plumbing products using documented procedures and safety protocols. As a Laboratory Technician, you will review product specifications, apply relevant standards, and compile technical results. The work includes titration, balances, pipettes, and laboratory measurement equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

- Understand customer specifications and applicable product standards
- Perform titration, balance, pipette, and equipment-based testing
- Compile technical data and prepare certification documentation
- Coordinate sample analysis with outside contract laboratories




- Participate in ISO 17025 quality assurance activities

Requirements:

- Degree in chemistry, chemical sciences, toxicology, or related physical sciences
- One year of environmental or water laboratory experience
- Knowledge of analytical and inorganic chemistry
- Knowledge of plumbing and drinking water products is an asset
- Knowledge of OHS&E; procedures and guidelines
