As Senior Advisor, Strategic Engagement, you will support engagement strategies across the 905 West regions within Peel Region. The role connects project teams with local businesses, nonprofits, advocacy groups, schools, and residents. You will manage consultations and community programs, develop notices and presentations, synthesize dashboard data, and provide advice on communications risks, local issues, and strategic options.

Key Responsibilities:

- Promote understanding, acceptance, and support for transit projects
- Coordinate consultations, job fairs, tours, and cultural outreach
- Develop Neighbourhood Notices and major track closure content




- Synthesize data for senior management reporting and presentations
- Coordinate information requests across cross-functional teams

Requirements:

- Communications, Public Administration, or equivalent education and experience
- Public-sector communications or special-project experience ideally demonstrated
- Solid influencing, negotiating, and political acumen capabilities
- Analytical skills assessing communications risks and impacts
- Willingness to travel to Mississauga, Hamilton, and Kitchener-Waterloo
