Lead maintenance planning for TC Energy’s Bear Creek Cogeneration Plant in Grand Prairie, Alberta. Apply equipment knowledge across turbines, generators, HRSGs, and control systems.

This Operations and Maintenance Site Technician supports the Site Host with planned and non-routine maintenance activities. The work includes coordinating repairs, developing outage scopes, managing contractors, and maintaining records through SAP. The position also supports budgeting, procurement, testing, and capital improvement coordination.

Key Responsibilities:

- Plan and execute preventive maintenance on plant equipment
- Develop annual outage scopes and support outage execution
- Solicit quotations and prepare replacement-part requisitions




- Supervise contractors during maintenance and repair activities
- Maintain SAP records and support maintenance budget planning

Requirements:

- Relevant Mechanical, Electrical, or Instrumentation Red Seal certification
- Power Engineering or Technologist diploma considered
- Five years of related power plant experience
- Computerized Maintenance Management System experience, such as SAP
- Availability for travel, weekends, emergencies, and temporary assignments
