This Lead Mechanical Engineer position combines technical excellence, project management, and client engagement across diverse building and infrastructure projects. You will design effective heating, cooling, and ventilation systems while advancing energy transition initiatives. WSP’s work includes commercial, institutional, residential, and industrial sectors throughout Ontario.

Key Responsibilities:

- Advance decarbonization through mechanical and district energy designs
- Develop sustainable, efficient, and resilient engineering solutions
- Design HVAC and ventilation systems for buildings and facilities




- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and clients
- Support engineers, EITs, and designers’ professional growth

Requirements:

- Active Professional Engineers Ontario registration and P.Eng. designation
- Strong experience with district energy and central plants
- Mechanical system analysis and technical evaluation experience
- Working knowledge of Ontario, CSA, and ASHRAE requirements
- Strong client, proposal, and business development skills
