Support Manitoulin Transport's LTL fleet as a Licensed 310T Fleet Maintenance Mechanic focused on technical expertise and preventative maintenance. This full-time role pays CAD 44.36 hourly.

Manitoulin Transport's technicians are critical to its transportation business and help maintain secure operations. You will perform assigned preventative maintenance, code work orders, complete paperwork, and coordinate truck movements to third-party maintenance providers. The position requires safe work compliant with the Occupational Health and Safety Act, other pertinent regulations, and company procedures. A third-year apprentice registered with the Trades and Apprentice Board may qualify.

Key Responsibilities:

- Perform preventative maintenance assignments for fleet vehicles




- Code work orders and complete required documentation
- Handle associated paperwork for maintenance activities
- Deliver trucks to third-party maintenance providers
- Pick up trucks from external maintenance providers

Requirements:

- 310T Truck and Coach licence or third-year apprenticeship
- Trades and Apprentice Board registration
- Valid driver's licence
- Strong technical expertise
- Positive attitude toward assigned responsibilities
