Okanagan Cleaning is looking for an experienced, reliable, and detail-oriented cleaner to join our growing team Jobs are primarily in West Kelowna
- but may have some cleans in Kelowna. We are looking for someone with professional cleaning experience who can work efficiently without sacrificing attention to detail. The right person takes pride in their work, manages their time well, and can confidently work independently while also being a positive, supportive member of our team. Responsibilities
- Thoroughly clean bathrooms, including toilets, showers, tubs, sinks, mirrors, and fixtures.
- Clean kitchens, including countertops, sinks, backsplashes, appliance exteriors, and cabinet fronts as needed.
- Vacuum and mop floors, paying attention to corners, edges, stairs, and hard-to-reach areas.
- Dust furniture, shelves, windowsills, baseboards, and other surfaces as required.
- Change and make beds, including washing and replacing linens when requested.
- Notice and address small details, such as crumbs in corners, dust along edges, hair on bathroom floors, fingerprints, and missed spots.
- Present each home nicely by straightening items, arranging cushions, and leaving rooms looking clean, tidy, and welcoming.
- Follow cleaning checklists and client-specific instructions while completing tasks within the scheduled time.
- Maintain cleaning supplies and equipment and communicate any concerns or issues.
- Work independently or in a team at client locations while maintaining consistent quality standards. We want someone who sees what needs to be done without having to be told. - Professional cleaning experience is essential.
- Strong attention to detail combined with an effective, steady work pace.
- Ability to complete assigned tasks within the scheduled time without cutting corners.
- Reliable, punctual, and ready to work in uniform.
- A positive attitude, strong work ethic,



and pride in doing a job well.
- Ability to work independently while also being a supportive team member.
- Professional, friendly, and respectful when working in clients' homes and businesses.
- Comfortable taking initiative, following procedures, and communicating clearly.
- Legally entitled to work in Canada.
- Valid driver's licence and a reliable vehicle.
- Willingness to transport cleaning supplies and equipment between job locations.

What We Offer
- Starting pay: $24/hour
- Mileage reimbursement for work-related travel + time paid while driving.
- Approximately 20 hours per week to start, with the opportunity to grow to around 30 hours per week.
- Work primarily in West Kelowna, with some work in Kelowna. These locations will be scheduled on separate days.
- Cleaning supplies and equipment provided.
