Licensed Practical Nurses with acute care and critical thinking skills can support patients at Drumheller Health Centre in Drumheller, Alberta. This temporary position runs until April 30, 2027, or the incumbent returns.

As an LPN, you will provide patient- and family-centred care within an interprofessional rural hospital team. The work spans acute care, labour and delivery, ICU, and emergency areas. You will use nursing processes, problem solving, decision making, and communication skills while practicing within legislation, standards, policies, and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care

- Practice across acute care, labour and delivery, ICU, and emergency

Requirements:

- Complete an accredited practical nurse education program
- Hold active or eligible Alberta LPN registration and practice permit
- Maintain current Basic Cardiac Life Support Health Care Provider certification
- Have at least two years in Med/Surg/Acute Care
- Gain that experience within the past five years
