Support Birchwood’s full-cycle accounts payable and receivable process with invoice posting, deposits, and account reconciliations. This position reports to the Controller.
The AP & AR Advisor manages daily accounting functions across Birchwood. You will process invoices, POS transactions, and deposits while maintaining accurate records. The work also includes vendor communication, cheque request monitoring, and weekly or monthly account reviews.
Key Responsibilities:
- Post invoices and reconcile vendor statements
- Monitor internal cheque requests and communicate with vendors
- Complete daily deposits and post POS transactions
- Reconcile clearing accounts and review records for accuracy
Requirements:
- Accounts payable or receivable experience considered an asset
- CDK experience considered an asset
- Post-secondary education in business, finance, or accounting considered an asset
- Solid attention to detail, organization, and time management
- Microsoft Outlook and Excel proficiency with technology comfort
- Valid driver’s license and personal transportation required
