Intent of the process
The purpose of this process is to staff one (1) English Essential position in Halifax, Nova Scotia.A pool of partially or essentially qualified candidates may be established through this process and used to staff identical or similar positions in Halifax, NS with various employment tenures (temporary and permanent), various language profiles, operational requirements, and conditions of employment.Please note that all positions are on-site,



and you will be expected to work in person for the entire duration of your scheduled hours.

Top Secret security clearance - Please note: Important Information: For some positions, candidates must be eligible to obtain and maintain a Top-Secret security clearance. In line with the Directive on Security Screening, candidates must hold Canadian citizenship to obtain this level of clearance.

COE2. Willing and able to obtain and retain a DND 404 driver’s license.COE3. Willing and able to remain seated while operating various vehicles or equipment for periods of 4-5 hours at a time, and to safely enter and exit vehicles or equipment.COE4. Strict adherence to the Department of National Defence and Canadian Forces Code of Values and Ethics, Values and Ethics Code for the Public Sector, Directive on Conflict of Interest, and Defence Administrative Orders and Directives (DAOD) 7021-1, Conflict of Interest*.COE5. Willing and able to work in person for the entire duration of your scheduled hours. GL-MDO-04 positions require full-time on-site presence.One or more of the above conditions of employment may be required, depending on the position being staffed.
