Deliver community nursing care as a Registered Practical Nurse with scheduled patient visits across Timiskaming, Ontario, supported by Registered Nurses.
ParaMed seeks a full-time Registered Practical Nurse for community visits across Cochrane, New Liskeard, Timmins, and Kirkland Lake. You will care for patients of all ages, assess individual needs, and support comfort at home. The position includes autonomy and independent practice within your scope.
Key Responsibilities:
- Complete scheduled community visits within your scope of practice
- Provide ethical, secure nursing care to patients
- Assess individual needs using appropriate assessment tools
- Execute, monitor, and adjust patient care plans
- Maintain professional records for patient encounters and plans
Requirements:
- Current CNO registration as a Registered Practical Nurse
- Valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle
- Reliability, flexibility, and willingness to travel
- Experience with vulnerable populations
- Required on-call coverage, including after hours
