This position performs portering duties throughout the hospital while supporting patients, families, and staff. You will transport patients and equipment, specimens, linen carts, pharmaceutical medications, supplies, and scripts. The role requires communication, critical thinking, prioritization, and commitment to safe workplace practices.

Key Responsibilities:

- Transport patients and equipment throughout all hospital areas
- Move specimens and soiled equipment safely between departments
- Deliver clean and soiled linen carts
- Transport pharmaceutical medications, supplies, and scripts
- Complete other assigned portering duties

Requirements:

- Previous customer service experience
- Portering experience preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to prioritize multiple demands
- Ability to lift over 60 pounds and push carts
