Serve residents as a Registered Practical Nurse at Creedan Valley Community in Creemore, Ontario, providing nursing care and resident assessments on-site evenings.
Reporting to the Director of Care, this permanent part-time Registered Practical Nurse supports residents within RPN/LPN scope. The work includes physician orders, resident plans of care, ongoing assessments, family communication, and staff guidance. Experience in geriatrics, rehabilitation, or senior health is an asset.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide nursing care according to established policies and physician orders
- Deliver excellent nursing and personal care
- Support welcoming environments through teamwork and communication
- Oversee resident care and communicate with families
- Supervise assigned Personal Support Workers and unregulated team members
Requirements:
- Registered Practical Nurse in valuable standing with Ontario College of Nurses
- Good judgement and ability to identify risk
- Ability to foster a positive work environment
- Legal eligibility to work in Canada
- Successful Vulnerable Sector or Criminal Record Check
