Perron Contracting seeks a Health and Safety Officer for training and site safety. The position combines workplace orientations, toolbox talks, hazard assessments, and safety audits. You will support incident reporting, emergency preparedness, documentation, and compliance with Ontario occupational health and safety requirements across construction and infrastructure sites.

Key Responsibilities:

- Deliver orientations, training sessions, and toolbox talks
- Train workers on WHMIS, PPE, and construction hazards
- Conduct inspections, hazard assessments, and safety audits




- Support incident investigations and corrective actions
- Maintain training, inspection, and incident records

Requirements:

- Occupational health and safety experience, preferably in construction
- Experience delivering safety training or toolbox talks
- Knowledge of Ontario occupational health and safety legislation
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Valid driver's licence and remote-site travel willingness
