The Flight Operations Coordinator plans, organizes, supports, and follows flights accurately and efficiently. This position connects flight crew, operations, and management through timely communication. Duties include flight alerting, meteorological information, NOTAMS, flight plans, and operational updates.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor flights from commencement through termination and intermediate stops
- Communicate landings and departures with pilots in command
- File, update, and cancel flight plans with Nav Canada
- Maintain software systems, flights, pairings, alerts, and currency
- Activate the Emergency Response Plan when required
Requirements:
- Post Secondary Diploma
- Essential aviation background
- Proven organizational and interpersonal communication skills
- Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel proficiency
- Availability for shift hours in a 24/7 operation
