The work spans concepts, detailed design, and tender stages. You will interpret drawings, specifications, quantities, schedules, and scopes while communicating clear assumptions, risks, exclusions, and opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop cost estimates from early concepts through detailed design and tender
- Analyze drawings, specifications, quantities, schedules, and project information
- Prepare quantity take-offs and pricing using current market information




- Evaluate contractor and supplier pricing for bid and tender evaluations
- Maintain estimating documentation, benchmarks, and historical cost information

Requirements:

- Relevant post-secondary education with practical estimating experience
- Experience estimating engineering, infrastructure, buildings, or industrial projects
- Strong understanding of construction methods and project cost factors
- Experience with estimating and project controls tools
- Solid Microsoft Excel proficiency and analytical judgment
